| Four monotypic genera have been described for Deuteromycetes with superficial, crustose or pulvinate, setose conidiomata and hyaline, septate stauroconidia consisting of a main axis and 2—3 apical branches. The types of Fumagopsis Spegazzini (1910), Vonarxia Batista & Bezerra (1960) and Kazulia Nag Raj (1977) are specimens collected in South America. All develop superficially on living or decaying leaves. Phalangispora constricta Nawawi & Webster (1982) has been described from a pure culture isolated from conidia collected at Malaya. | Top predators like marine mammals have been intensively used for monitoring the contamination of the marine environment, particularly in industrialized coastal areas of the Northern Atlantic Ocean. Such data concerning contamination in the Southern hemisphere are very scarce. Samples were taken in the fatty protuberance of the forehead (melon) from eleven Commerson's dolphins (Cephalorhynchus commersonii, Lacépède, 1804) caught in the coastal waters of the Kerguelen Islands (Southern Indian Ocean). They were analyzed for DDT, PCB and HCB, using capillary gaz chromatography. | Most agricultural export subsidies are targeted to specific countries. This paper demonstrates that in a standard general equilibrium model of international trade, a small targeted subsidy increase the welfare of the subsidizing country by exploiting differences in price responsiveness of demand relationships of importers. A single-product spatial equilibrium model then is used to show that targeted export subsidies can be used to increase the subsidizing country's welfare by exploiting transportation cost differences and the elasticity of excess supply of competitors or of markets supplied by competitors through subsidization of shared markets. In addition, an empirical model of the world wheat market is used to illustrate the theoretical conclusions. |

| Keys are given to the European genera and species of the Pamphiliidae (Symphyta: Megalodontoidea). Ten species are added to the list of the Dutch Hymenoptera. | A multi-product cost function model was used to analyze energy demand in various agricultural subsectors. This approach has advantages over previously used approaches since it reduces aggregation bias, considers technological jointness, and provides various disaggregative measures related to energy input demand. When fitted to West Virginia county level data, labor and miscellaneous inputs in crop and livestock production were found to be substitutes for energy, while capital, machinery, and fertilizer were complementary to energy. Energy demand was inelastic and increases in machinery prices had the largest reduction effect on energy demand.
